Spoke to nurses and homecare and hospice staff from across the country
30-minute keynote on my 29-year experience with various home care companies, the positive and negative experiences, and how I have had to advocate for the standard of care I receive today and teach my medical care team my expectations.
My talk was in preparation for Jennifer Charron from NHIA, to talk about her home infusion clinical as well as to present the home line care patient education tool myself and others from various organizations and associations including NAHC, have been working on for the past year.
After the talk, Swapna was referred to speak at another conference, and a hospital in Michigan would like to implement the patient tool in their facility once the tool is published next year.
